All Hands On Deck

For a  program that really wasn't his per se they sure were involved in it.
More Friday document dumps...

Several key White House offices were involved with the Obama administration’s messaging plans and other preparations as the collapse of the taxpayer-backed solar company Solyndra was imminent, newly released documents show.
The latest White House documents delivered to House Republicans on Friday again highlight the extent to which senior administration officials braced for the fallout as Solyndra – a company President Obama had personally visited – was about to go under.
Every time his lips move, its a lie.

Steven Chu About To Get Chewed?

This report may be the one that rolls over him...

Department of Energy Secretary Steven Chu may have personally intervened in a $1.4 billion partial loan guarantee in an effort to help floundering solar company Solyndra, Republicans on the House Energy and Commerce Committee alleged in a letter Friday.
Committee Republicans opened a new front in their ongoing investigation of the Solyndra scandal in a letter to Chu on Friday, requesting documents and emails regarding a $1.4 billion loan to a solar project that was to be supplied equipment by Solyndra.
Thump, thump, thump.

Politics As Usual

AFP nails the truth.

Liar In Chief (still a liar) Lies Again

The weekend document dump.

The Obama administration knew before the 2010 election that Solyndra LLC, a solar-panel maker that received a $535 million U.S. loan guarantee, planned to fire workers, according to e-mails released today.
The bad news is there are more Solyndras going belly up to the tune of several $billion dollars of taxpayer money. At least they planned ahead and built in a cushion of $2.4 billion to flush down the crapper for failures. After they pay some bonus money of course!
Well done Barack! Damn well done!

Bankrupt Solyndra Still Wants Bonus Money

Taxpayers left wishing in one hand, while the other hand fills with you know what...

Now seems an unlikely time for handing out bonuses at bankrupt Solyndra LLC, but that’s the plan of company attorneys intending to dole out up to a half-million dollars to persuade key employees to stay put.
Nearly two dozen Solyndra employees could receive bonuses ranging from $10,000 to $50,000 each under a proposal filed by Solyndra’s attorneys in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Delaware.
Color me not very surprised. Nothing surprises me anymore.
