Pelosi: Congress Has Always Been A Mockery

She is right, I laugh at her party daily.

“Congress has always been a mockery,” Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) declared in an interview on “The Charlie Rose Show” Monday night.

Commenting on the public’s current low opinion of Congress, Pelosi said “Congress has always been a mockery since the beginning of our country”:

When San Fran Nan calls for civility, those on her side of the isle pay close attention.

Pelosi then said that shunning “civility” in Congressional debate is “a tactic by obstructionists”:

“But, the fact is, is that if you can get civility back — and that’s why the public has to be part of the solution. They have to demand and insist on the stability because it’s a tactic by obstructionists. If you want to obstruct, you make it so unpleasant that no one wants to pay attention.”

Obviously her party has that "tactic" mastered...
Pelosi is off the rails insane and needs to be institutionalized.

Hoyer Says Fluke Should Sue Limbaugh

House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) said over the weekend that he hopes Georgetown University student Sandra Fluke sues radio host Rush Limbaugh over comments in which he said Fluke is a "slut" and a "prostitute" for advocating for free contraception as part of her college healthcare plan.

"I'd like to see her take him to court," Hoyer told the Montgomery Advertiser in Alabama. "She is not a public figure and, for that reason, she should be able to sue for slander, libel or whatever else might be involved."

Sorry Steny she became a public figure when she went before Congress and then in front of every liberal camera and friendly microphone she could find.

The rest of the country would love to see what is locked away in her closet...

More Drilling Results In Dependence On Foreign Oil?

“The Republican field, like Mitt Romney, thinks that we just need to remain tethered and dependent on foreign oil because all they would do is more and more drilling, which is a very shortsighted approach and it would do nothing to prevent people who are struggling to put $80 into their gas tanks to be able to make sure that that’s more affordable,” Wasserman Schultz said on MSNBC.

Pelosi Asks People to Contribute To"Us"

The Democratic leader was holding a briefing to promote a campaign finance disclosure bill when she said she was “asking people to contribute to us, if they want to elect more reformers to Congress.” 

House ethics rules prohibit members of Congress from soliciting campaign donations in House office buildings, including the Capitol Visitor Center, where Pelosi was speaking. A section of the U.S. criminal code also prohibits fund-raising in federal buildings.

Of course this will be widely reported from the MSM...
Nancy obviously has a different definition of reform than most people with a IQ over 7.

Wasserman Schultz doubled down on that attack. “You had town hall meetings that they tried to take over, and you saw some their conduct at those tea party meetings,” Wasserman Schultz said today. “When they come and disagree with you, you’re not just wrong, you’re the enemy.”

I remember the nutcase that shot Gabrielle Giffords a bit differently than idiot Debbie wants to believe.

The deficit was $161 billion and headed down when Pelosi grabbed the gavel. When she handed it off the deficit was $1.342 TRILLION! Great work Nancy!

Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi, D-CA, who served as Speaker of the House and is now head of the House minority, is once again spending her Christmas at the exotic Four Seasons Resort Hualalai at Historic Ka’upulehu in Kona on the island of Hawaii.

Pelosi reportedly plans to spend her Christmas Eve at midnight mass in St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Kailua-Kona.

Pelosi spent the last two Christmas holidays in Kona at the same hotel in an elaborate suite that rents for $10,000 a night.

Obama’s trip to the island of Oahu has proved much pricier to state and federal taxpayers.

In a Hawaii Reporter story published last week, the total cost (based on what is known) for a 17-day round trip vacation to Hawaii for the President and his family and staff and security is an estimated $4,113,038.

That includes $3,629,622 for separate travel for the president and his family, $151,200 for housing for security, $72,216 for staff to stay in one of Hawaii’s most luxurious resorts, the Moana Surfrider in Waikiki, and local police protection and ambulance detail for $260,000.

Meanwhile the fourth best President is proving once again just how lazy he really is...

He has been in Hawaii what? 48 hours?

The group had met for several hours with top Democratic leaders, and Pelosi invited them to speak publicly on their perspectives on economic growth.

What Pelosi did not mention is that one of the men in the group was her son’s boss and a partner with her husband in more than a half-dozen investments, including one that generated more than $100,000 in income for the Speaker’s family last year.

It was the fourth time since 2007 that Pelosi had invited San Francisco investment banker William Hambrecht to be part of an economic policy forum on the Hill and the third time she appeared at a podium with him to speak to reporters. At none of those events did the then-Speaker reveal her financial ties to Hambrecht, and House rules did not require her to do so.

The Pelosi family seems to fair pretty well with all her inside connections.
